Great Pyrenees - Andre
Currently the country's #2 All Breed Great Pyrenees & #1 Great Pyrenees male, Andre is a Multiple All Breed BIS and multiple BISS winner. Co-owned and co-bred by Wayne and Jean Boyd of the famous Rivergroves Great Pyrenees Kennel located in Brookeville, Maryland, he has followed in the footsteps of the great Rivergroves dogs that have preceded him. Andre is owned and bred by Russ and Deb Wahna, Ambridge, Pennsylvania. He is co-owned by Ed and Cece Mackey from Indiana, Pennsylvania.
Chinese Shar Pei - Bic
Bic started his show career in February 2007 by winning BOS at the Westminster Kennel Club show. Bic is a Multiple All Breed BIS winner and a multiple BISS winner. He was awarded 1st AOM at the 2007 CSPCA National Specialty as well as at the Westminster Kennel Club earlier this year. He is currently ranked in the top three CSP in the country. Bic's beautiful head piece and expression along with his correct Shar-Pei topline are just a few examples of his excellent breed type which is only matched by his phenomenal temperament making him the consummate "show dog". He is owned by Iris Smith of Hubbard, Ohio.
Norwegian Elkhound - Ty
Currently the country's #1 All Breed Norwegian Elkhound, Ty is a Multiple BIS winner, as well as a BISS winner and the winner of the 2008 Potomac Hound Club show held in Bel Alton, Maryland. Ty's combination of structure, type and balance presents a breathtaking picture. Ty is bred and owned by Andrea Schokker from Duluth, Minnesota.
Colored Bull Terrier - Clio
Clio is the country's #1 Colored Bull Terrier. She is an All Breed BIS winner, a BISS winner, a multiple group winner and placer AND the recipient of the Bull Terrier Club of America's Silverwood Trophy in 2006. She is following in the footsteps of her world famous father "Rufus" who won BIS at Westminster 2006, the first Colored Bull Terrier to do so. Clio possesses beautiful breed type in a phenomenal headpiece. She is a result of years of successful breeding by Jan Dykema and Tom and Carole Huey and is owned by Dr. Jeanne Fournier-Fike and Scott Fike from Royalton, New York, Dr. Glen Snyder from Williamsville, New York and Jan Dykema from St. Helena, California. She finished 2007's rankings as the #1 All Breed Colored Bull Terrier.
Akita - Riggs
Riggs represents true Akita type with his beautiful, masculine headpiece, superb temperament and massive bone. His striking, luxurious, red colored coat makes Riggs quite the stand out in the show ring. A BISS and multiple Group winner, he is in the Top 5 Breed Standings and the Top 10 All Breed Standings for 2008. Riggs recently won the Top 20 Competition at the 2008 Akita National Specialty held in Layton, Utah. He is owned by Barbara Cook from Dumfries, Virginia.
Irish Water Spaniel - Guinness
The "G-Man", as he is fondly called, started his show career with Tim in May of 2008 and in that short time has garnered several BOB wins and group placements. This exuberant three year old IWS finished his Championship on the Wine Country circuit in 2007 with a five point major win which made him the youngest AKC "All Around" IWS (Breed Champion, Obedience Title and Field Title). He also received first AOM at the 2008 IWSCA National Specialty. Guinness is owned by R. James Rubin from Arlington, Virginia.
Australian Shepherd - Brody
Brody is the newest member to the 2008 String. The son of BIS CH Horizon's Deja Blue, campaigned by Tim in 2005, Brody has quickly followed in his daddy's footsteps as he is already a multiple group winner. This flashy blue merle young male possesses beautiful bone, head and expression. Light on his feet and clean both coming & going, this exuberant young dog is eager to please. The best for Brody is yet to come. Brody is owned and bred by Karen Mallory of Titusville, PA.
